Today we walked a new route from Lliber led by our friend Dr Geoff Hall.
A merry band of about 20 of us set off on the steep ascent which would eventually lead us to Castell d’Aixa.
Then we are off in the direction of Pedreguer and Font d’Aixa.
We then stop for a well deserved lunch and then its onwards – past a small water deposito which is currently home to a few large toads!
We then start a really sharp ascent to the final summit
With Dr Geoff leading the way!
Almost there – just the last tricky bit
Along a narrow slightly exposed ledge and then through “The Squeeze” It’s a great walk. 6 hours in total, just over 17k and with about 800m of ascent – boy I deserve a beer!
